Become a Legend editor: shirt numbers, captain, set pieces
In Become a Legend you can't change your teams' shirt numbers or keep the captain you want: the game decides. The BAL editor writes the numbers straight into your career save, and the Captain & set pieces module keeps your captain in the game.
Step by step
The app's buttons and pages are in English; the names below are the ones you'll see.
- Close the game, or stay in the main menu outside Become a Legend: the game overwrites the save when it saves.
- Open Become a Legend → BAL editor and pick your save file and team.
- Numbers tab: change numbers with the arrows or by typing. A number another player wears shows in red with a Swap button; Default numbers brings back your patch's numbers.
- Captain tab: choose the captain. The Captain & set pieces Sider module keeps him in the game, even after the "club made you captain" event.
- Press Save (backup first), then load your career.
Good to know
- Set-piece takers (long and short free kick, second free-kick taker, left / right corner, penalty) are already on the Set pieces tab; they unlock in the next version.
- After a career loads, the module needs up to about half a minute to find your team; Sider's overlay applies it at once (BALCaptain_blue41, key [6]).
- Every save change is listed in the Change log, where one click puts the save back.
